Monel 400 Pipe Fittings

Monel 400 is made up of nickel and copper along with trace elements comprising of iron, manganese, carbon, and silicon. Monel 400 Fittings has excellent resistance against acids and alkalis thereby, being extremely corrosion resistant. Along with this, it has good tensile strength, thermal conductivity, and has elongation properties. After hardening these fittings with cold-working they are suitable to work at temperatures from sub-zero to 538°C. These fittings are commonly found in valves, pumps, heat exchangers, marine engineering, chemical, and hydrocarbon processing units. The Alloy 400 Reducer fitting changes the pipe size from a large bore to a small one. The hydraulic flow reduction in the system helps the pipe in adapting to different sizes of pipes. These pipe reducers can be either concentric or eccentric. UNS N04400 Stub End is used to create a joint amongst two pipes having backing rings, a fastener set, and a stub gasket.
