Alloy Steel Weldolet Pipe Fittings also known as branch connector fittings has an excellent body made by forging. To minimize the stress concentration a branched butt weld fitting has adhered to the outlet pipe. It also provides overall reinforcement. Socket Weld Outlet makes a 90-degree branch and helps in changing the direction of the pipe. The pipe in socket weld is put through a recessed area of valve, fitting, or flange. It resists approximately half the strength of SS Bw Weldolet. However, the butt weld is considered to be good for use in high temperatures and high pressure.
Applications that use 316 Branch fittings include chemical applications, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, pulp and paper, and machine building. Furthermore, they are also used in semiconductors, architectural structures, food and beverage, and waste incinerators. ASTM A182 Stainless Steel Threaded outlets are often preshaped towards the curvature are easy for connecting pipe caps and metalheads.
