SS 304 High Pressure Tube Fitting has the ability to resist pitting, oxidation, crevice corrosion, and carburization. This is a special chromium and nickel alloy grade that can retain high strength while retaining scaling. They are therefore said to be fire and heat resistant. A low carbon version of this grade of the fitting is the AISI 304L Back Ferrule. The letter ‘L’ suffix to the number denotes the lower amount of carbon. The low carbon content minimizes chromium depletion at grain boundaries and sensitization that would otherwise reduce the corrosion resistance. However, this also makes the fittings structurally weaker than their parent's grade.
ASTM A276 Stainless Steel Push Fit Fittings remove the requirement of annealing the product before completion. Moreover, it assists a swift installation thus making it one of the biggest advantages of using these fittings. They are the easiest way to connect pipes without soldering and welding. SS 316 Front Ferrule Tube eliminates the precipitation in the welding process. The anti corrosion quality is enhanced due to the addition of molybdenum. Weld annealing requires a high stress application. ASTM A182 Pneumatic Fittings are used in pressurized gas systems to connect tubes, hoses, and pipes. They are characterized by low pressure requirements, and tighter seals when compared to hydraulic fittings.
